Fighting malaria is music to our ears!

Malaria No More’s signature initiative, Surround Sound—bringing together all sectors of local society together in African countries to fight malaria—just launched the Zinduka! concert in Tanzania in support of the Malaria Haikubaliki campaign.

Malaria Haikubaliki (meaning “malaria is unacceptable”) is an innovative campaign led by the Tanzanian government and supported by partners including Johns Hopkins University, Population Services International and United Against Malaria.

The Zinduka! campaign urges all Tanzanians to Wake Up! to the threat of malaria and join the country’s fight against the disease across the country. In support of this effort, Tanzania’s top talent wrote and performed this signature campaign pop song—ensuring that all of Tanzania will be moving to a new, malaria-defeating beat.
