Scott Case Talks Twitter on CNN

March 9th, 2010 | Posted by emily

Last night, Scott Case appeared on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 to talk about the Twitter Nets—89,724 mosquito nets helping families in Senegal protect themselves from the bite of a malarial mosquito.

In April 2009, Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk) challenged CNN (@cnnbrk) to a race to a million Twitter followers.  By adding a charitable twist, Twitter made sure that the real winners were families in Africa. Now, with the help of Malaria No More’s partners the Peace Corps, World Vision and Tostan, the #TwitterNets are trending in Africa.
